Sawyer and Amanda first met face to face when they ran into each other at a bowling alley. Amanda said "Hi! I've heard so much about you. It's nice to finally meet you!" and Sawyer said "Hi" and not much more than that. A few weeks later Kaden, Sawyer's best friend, thought that it would be good for them to get to know each other and gave Amanda Sawyer's number. Their first date was at Starbucks where they fell for each other over a matcha latte and mint tea. The rest is history.

Sawyer proposed at The Tampa Theater on a very hot summer night. He told Amanda he won tickets to the showing of The Wizard of Oz- little did she know the surprise he had in store. A few moments after arriving at the theater, the marquee lit up with the words "From 2018 to Forever, Amanda, Will You Marry Me?". Amanda obviously said Yes!!!
