Choose from four award winning golf courses, right across the highway from where the ceremony will be held. The Dye course requires a great deal of accuracy, and has its own clubhouse. The other three courses are at the main club house and have their own unique design and characteristics, and 2 of the courses have at least 1 hole along the ICW. If you're feeling like 36, they generally have great replay rates on the same course or any of the other 3 courses.
Barefoot Landing is a unique shopping, dining and entertainment experience with shops and restaurants situated along a boardwalk where you’ll feel gentle breezes coming off the 27-acre lake.
Broadway at the Beach has it all- attractions, shopping, dining, and entertainment. This center for family fun on the Grand Strand remains the most popular tourist destination and has no shortage of things to do. Shop at local boutiques or make memories at one of the unique attractions including Ripley’s Aquarium and WonderWorks.
Aloha Watersports offers Parasailing, Banana Boating, Jet Skis, Dolphin Cruises and Pontoon Boat rentals!
One of our favorite restaurant/bars in North Myrtle! Grab a table outside on their waterfront patio and enjoy the great food and live music. Also highly recommend Boardwalk Billy’s right next door if Local is busy!
Check out a number of our favorite places along Main Street including Bouy’s on the Boulevard, Pirate’s Cove and Sky Bar
The Myrtle Beach SkyWheel is the first observation wheel of its kind in the United States. The SkyWheel is 200-feet above sea level. Take a flight overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk in one of the 42 climate controlled and fully enclosed gondolas.
Great outdoor bar on a marina overlooking the ICW that often has live music. It is also right next to Local, but parking is limited.
There are a number of great golf courses to choose from in the area, but this is one of our must plays when we're here. Public course with a country club feel, holes that border the ICW and Hoggs Inlet, help the blue dragons out and keep a look out towards the inlet and lifeguard tower for any swimmers in distress. Overall the course has a great layout, great service, and great views. Be sure to double check any tee time you book though as it is a popular time for courses in the area to punch the greens.
A little further of a drive, but hard to beat. I have yet to play there where I haven't seen some sort of wildlife, hawks, deer, foxes, (and snakes) are common to see. This is also the only course I play where I more often then not need to use every club in my bag. 5 holes with views of the ICW, a double green, and if you master 18 and the split Fairway, tell me how you do it.
Irish Pub open late with a patio over looking the beach, with a walkway directly onto the beach.
Casino boat that normally has 2 cruises a day. The cruise goes beyond the state waters then the gambling can begin. The boat has slots, roulette, and table games; craps have not been available since covid, but may be back up by wedding time.
Beachy vibes on the waterway, with a couple different bar options in the area. Right next to the casino boat, and close to Glen Dornoch.
Bar and event space with a stage on the waterway, famous in the area for the Sunday afternoon/early evening concerts. It was common for us lifeguards to be at the clock ready to punch out at 5:53 to rush to boathouse on Sundays before the concert ended.
Great place for pizza or anything on the menu. We reccomend the chicken parm pizza and penne alla vodka. Parking is limited and can have a significant wait, so dining in can be hit or miss.
