Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. The ceremony and reception are both outside on a dock and dirt/straw, so we highly recommend women wear flats, wedges, or block shoes! It will be outside but covered if it rains.

Is there transportation to and from the villas to the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttle pickups on both East and West Beach. We have worked hard to ensure there are pick-up/drop-off locations that are walkable for everyone. Here is the schedule. 3:30 PM Shuttle #1: 299 Surfsong Shuttle #2: Roy Barth Tennis Center (2 Sanctuary Dr.) 3:45 PM Shuttle #1: The Sanctuary (1 Sanctuary Beach Dr.) Shuttle #2: Night Heron Park (4000 Sea Forest Dr.) 4:00 PM. Shuttle #1: Kiawah Conservancy (80 Kestrel Court) Shuttle #2: West Beach Conference Center (2 Shipwatch Rd.) 4:15 PM Both shuttles drop guests at Mingo Point 10:00 PM. Shuttle #1: Makes drop-offs at all pick-up locations below Shuttle #2: Brings guests to King St. Grille for the after-party 11 PM. Shuttle from after-party to island making drop-offs at all pick-up locations 12 AM Shuttle from after-party to island making drop-offs at all pick-up locations 1 AM. 4:15 if you are not taking the shuttle.

How will I get around?

Answer

If you plan to stay for more than a couple of days, we recommend renting a car. Bike rentals are available through the resort, and likely through your rental if you did not book through the resort. This is definitely the easiest way to get around the island and explore! If you booked through the resort, you will also have access to on-demand transportation shuttles from 7AM - 11 PM. To book a shuttle, call (843) 768-2900. Please allow a 15-20 minute buffer for pick-up.
