How else do you meet in the middle of a pandemic? We met on the dating app, Hinge, in early 2021. Our first date was the night before the Chiefs (the one team we agree on) lost to Brady and the Bucs in the Super Bowl. We agreed to meet up for cocktails and appetizers at Repeal 18th in North Kansas City. The night was going well and we had really hit it off. Next thing we know, 15 of Justin's college friends randomly walk into the bar causing Justin to get a little nervous. A crazy coincidence that took months to convince Sarah it wasn't staged to prove he had friends (meeting online can be scary!). Sarah actually admits that this helped Justin out a bit as they were all nice and complimentary of him during the next hour of the date. This led to many more dates at local KC spots full of conversation and memories we still look back on. The rest is history!
