Pittsburgh Airport Construction

If you're flying to and from PIT, note that the airport is in the midst of a major $1.5B renovation project. Be prepared for minor delays and changing airport information. If you last flew into Pittsburgh more than 2 years ago, things are going to look different. If you're a fan of the train between PIT's landside and airside terminals, this may be one of your last chances for a ride before it's decommissioned. Uber/Lyft, taxi services and rental car options are plentiful, and the 28X Airport Flyer bus is another option between the airport and downtown. Most hotels offer airport shuttle service, so a rental car is not a necessity.
