At this time we have continued our communication with the venue and town who have approved all plans according to state guidelines. Most activities are planned for outside. There is a large hall with fresh airflow (i.e. windows and doors) and additional tented outside space, in case of rain or extreme heat. Please note throughout the day the following will be provided: hand-sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, masks, and appropriately spaced tables throughout the celebration space. (In case of additional temperature-taking requirement mandated by the state, touchless thermometers will be provided.) Please see separate question regarding food safety.
All food will be pre-served by masked workers to be delivered to guests at designated times/locations. Guests will be prompted for food preferences during the beginning of the reception. Appetizers/desserts/snacks will be pre-assembled into “grab bags” to be enjoyed throughout the reception. Drinks will be served by the Shake and Stir Bar Truck, a company taking all safety precautions necessary in order to continue serving customers during this time.
That’s okay!!!! This is a tricky time, and everyone needs to do what they feel is best for them. We feel encouraged having this celebration (of under 90) in a large outdoor space, as we originally planned. There have been many adjustments to make this a safe plan during this time. If you have additional questions/concerns about this, please be in touch with our coordinator, Jen Strunk 860-917-0817
