Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception space (Candlelite Pavilion) will take place at the Summerville Country Club in Summerville, SC. 400 Country Club Boulevard Summerville, SC 29483 http://www.summervillecountryclub.com/

Will there be parking available?

Answer

Yes! Summerville Country Club has their own lot and will be directing traffic.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please budget half an hour to get parked, find a seat and get settled in. We love to talk and we know our friends and family do too! Arriving at this time allows you to converse while not rushing. We want this day to be as fun for you as it will be for us.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! We even encourage you to tag them with the hashtag #sanborntobeyours when you share them OR use the QR code we've placed around the venue to upload them to our photo album so that we can remember the day! We promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While we encourage you to dress your best, we want you to be comfortable in order to enjoy our day alongside us. Our wedding party will be wearing formal gowns and tuxedos. We also ask that white be reserved for the bride.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We request that any additional desired guests not addressed on the invitation envelope are confirmed with the bride or groom prior to the wedding date.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! We love kiddos. We do request that any children and other guests not originally addressed on the invitation be verified with the bride or groom prior to the wedding day. We will provide a space solely for the kids with at least two supervisory adults with games, coloring books, kid-friendly snack and activities.

What is the bar situation?

Answer

We'll provide a full open bar complete with a choice of liquors, several beer selections, a signature cocktail and a selection of red & white wines (as well as multiple non-alcoholic options).

What if I've had a few too many by the time the farewell comes around?

Answer

Our #1 priority is having our guests avoid unsafe situations. In having an open bar, we ask that you please know your limits. However, mistakes happen! Luckily, the Candlelight Pavilion is located in close to downtown Summerville with plenty of Lyft/Uber drivers. Please see a member of the wedding party to bum some cash if you need to. (We are working on the possibility of a shuttle to and from the hotel but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.)

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We are trying our best to accommodate as many of our guests as we can with the menu! We will have plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. However, there is a place to make a special dietary request when you RSVP through this website (see the RSVP tab above).

Will there be dancing and entertainment?

Answer

Have you met us? Of course there will! We have made arrangements for a DJ who will help you dance your tushie off as well as entertainment for those who don't feel like dancing (game tables, cards, photobooth, etc.)

Do you have a hotel block booked?

Answer

YES! We'd love for ALL of our guests to stay together at the Hilton Garden Inn! See the 'Accommodations' section of the site for additional information.

Can I tip the servers?

Answer

We would love for you to show your appreciation of the hard work our vendors, shuttle drivers and child care providers have put into making this night the best one ever!

Why can I not RSVP on the website but received an invitation?

Answer

Technology is fickle. Please try only searching your last name (despite what the page tells you to do). If you still cannot find your name, please email or message the contacts on the Details card included with your invitation.
