He says he knew at first glance. She was a little more oblivious. After years of game nights, park visits and dinners with mutual friends (and a LOT of social awkwardness), they finally said yes to giving it a try. Now, almost three years later, they're saying yes to the rest of their lives.

They were on a family vacation in Brevard, NC and had scheduled a trip to Sky Top Orchards. Mills was under the impression Matt was angry with her because, every time she would get near him, he would start walking away or ignore her. Unbeknownst to Mills, Matt had told her sister the plan and that if she could pose Mills to take a picture, he would do his part. At one point, her sister asked Mills to just stand at the bottom of the hill in front of the trees for a minute because something seemed off about her portrait settings on her camera. At this point, Matt got down on one knee and Reeves was supposed to get Mills to turn around. It took a while but she told her to turn around to test the settings. Mills was confused because what did turning around have to do with a "portrait"? But she did what she was told and grinned at the sight of the ring being presented to her. Fun Fact: The rest of the family had moved on past where they were taking pictures and in one shot, you can see Mills' mom hitting her dad to get his attention once she saw what was happening.
