It’s the modern love story, Hawaiian edition. Dina moved to Hawaii in September of 2015 looking for a new adventure. Sam was born and raised in Kailua, and happened to be the adventure she was looking for. Dina always had “high” standards when it came to dating, so it was not a shock that she would want to get to know the tallest person on the island. Similarly, Sam was getting poor posture from bending down to talk to his dates. How could he resist a long-legged bohemian who was new to paradise? After some friendly banter back and forth on the dating app Tinder, Dina made the first move by asking, “So are you going to take me out or what?” He did, they went, and they had a blast. Sam pulled out all the stops with a fancy dinner, a stop for gelato, and then darts at a dive bar. It was perfect, the best first date either of them had ever had. They couldn’t stop thinking about each other afterwards…. The rest is history.❤️
