What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. We can't wait to see you looking your best!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

With the exception of family members in the wedding, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. While we love seeing our loved ones' little ones, we really want our guests to be able to relax and enjoy themselves. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have carefully considered our guest list to ensure we get to spend the day with those who mean the most to us. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in the Hudson Valley around Labor Day weekend is generally pretty pleasant, but it can be hard to predict. While hotter temperatures in the 80s are possible, temperatures in the 70s are more likely. A light jacket might be a good idea to bring along for the evening when temperatures could get cooler.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at the same venue - the Saugerties Steamboat Company. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outside. Should it rain, there is an indoor option.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We plan to have our ceremony outdoors, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, we have an indoor option for the ceremony. For the reception, dinner and the bar will be located inside, however, there is a beautiful outdoor space we encourage our guests to enjoy!
