There are clearly marked signs for the entrance to the property and a large parking lot at the entrance. Camp Laurelwood is a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from Boston. Camp Laurelwood is a a 2 hour drive from Manhattan. Camp Laurelwood is a 1 hour drive from Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT.

NYC To Camp Laurelwood The best way to get to Camp Laurelwood from New York City via train is using the Metro North Train Line to "New Haven- State Street" from Grand Central Station. Trains run often and the train ride to the "New Haven- State Street" stop is only 2 hours and 15 minutes. From the "New Haven- State Street" stop a rideshare or taxi to Camp Laurelwood takes 30 minutes. Boston To Camp Laurelwood The best way to get to Camp Laurelwood from Boston via train is using the Amtrak Boston New Haven Train Line to "Old Saybrook" from Boston's South Station. Trains run often and the train ride to the "Old Saybrook" stop is only 2 hours. From the "Old Saybrook" stop a rideshare or taxi to Camp Laurelwood takes 25 minutes.
Travel Note
It is possible to fly into Boston's Logan International Airport or any of the New York Airports. However, the closest airport is Bradley International Airport which is just north of Hartford, CT. There is no direct public transportation between Bradley International Airport and Camp Laurelwood. A rideshare or taxicab from Bradley International Airport to Camp Laurelwood takes around one hour and costs around $60.
