Our venue is a 40 min drive from the town of Salida. There are no Ubers or Lyfts, and the cell service is spotty at the venue. Please plan accordingly, be safe, and watch for wildlife while driving at night (you will likely see pronghorn and mule deer while driving to and from the venue).

Elevation
The town of Salida is positioned right above 7,000 ft in elevation and our wedding venue is at 8,000 ft. If you are traveling from a lower elevation, have a history of altitude sickness, or just aren't sure how your body will react to this altitude, please take precautions and take good care of yourself! Some things to consider would be spending a day or two in Denver before driving up higher to help your body and lungs acclimate, hydrate as much as possible, and take it easy. Alcohol will hit you harder at elevation too! We want you have fun and enjoy yourself, just don't be afraid to take it easy and drink a little less than you normally would at a lower elevation. Don't say we didn't warn you!

But there are many hotels, airbnb's, and vrbo's in the area so don't feel like you have to choose something from this list. We do not have a hotel block so it is up to you to decide where you'd like to stay. The largest towns near our venue are Salida and Poncha Springs if you'd like to be close to restaurants and other amenities but it is up to you if you'd like to search for rentals closer to our venue.
