Flight
The most convenient airport in the region and 15 minutes to city center. Metro accessible (Yellow/Blue Lines). Taxi and Uber/Lyft are available to pickup directly at the airport for a one-way rate of about $20.

Best for international travelers. A 45 minute ride from city center. Not metro accessible (yet), but taxis/Uber/Lyft are available for a one-way rate of about $80.
Hotel
We have reserved a block of rooms for our guests at the JW Marriott in downtown, D.C. The hotel is centrally located: a seven minute walk to the venue, the White House, and the National Mall/Smithsonian museums. It is accessible by metro (Red, Orange, Silver, Blue lines), a 15 minute car ride from DCA, and 45 minutes from IAD.
Hotel
We have reserved a block of rooms at The Madison hotel in downtown DC. The hotel is centrally located: a 13 minute walk to the wedding venue, a 10 minute walk to the White House, and about a mile away from the National Mall. The Madison is metro accessible, with convenient stops at Farragut North (Red Line) and McPherson Square (Blue, Orange, Silver Lines).
Train
Metro: Our system runs until midnight on weeknights and through 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Taxi and car sharing options (Uber/Lyft/Via) are also readily available. If you prefer to bike, try one of the many bikeshare options (Capital Bikeshare, Mobike, LimeBike, Spin, or Jump DC) around the city!
Rental Car
Car rentals aren't necessary unless you're planning on a trip outside the city (Virginia wineries, Chesapeake Bay/Annapolis, Baltimore). If you plan on getting a car, they can be rented at regional airports and locations in DC. Car sharing options like Zipcar, Car2Go, and Enterprise CarShare can be found in locations all over the city.
