Where should I stay?

Answer

The Cape gets rather sleepy this time of year, especially the town of Wellfleet where the ceremony and reception are being held. For guests who prefer to stay where there is a little more life and action (shops, restaurants, etc.) we recommend staying in Chatham. We do not have a block of rooms booked at the present time, but The Wayside Inn provides a larger hotel type of stay while maintaining a quaint Cape Cod vibe. It is in the center of town on Main Street and is directly across from the infamous local hangout, Chatham Squire. Its onsite restaurant is The Wild Goose. Other Bed & Breakfast options include the Old Harbor Inn or the Chatham Inn (both are short walks to the center of town). For a luxury experience, we recommend the Chatham Bars Inn. For those who don't mind a little quiet and want to be closer to the venue, there is a Four Points by Sheraton in Eastham. Please note that Chatham is approximately a 40-minute drive to the ceremony and reception in Wellfleet. Transportation will be provided with pick ups and drop offs near the Wayside Inn on Main Street in Chatham and at the Four Points by Sheraton in Eastham. And lastly, there are plenty of Airbnbs and VRBOs, as well as options on weneedavacation.com all throughout the Cape.

Is there parking at the ceremony/reception venue?

Answer

There is parking available in the lot across the street from Preservation Hall, but we want everyone to be able to relax and celebrate! We encourage carpooling, and we’ll also be providing transportation to and from the venue. More details on transportation options will be shared soon!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors. Dinner will take place under a heated tent.

When & how do I RSVP?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive your Save the Date, feel free to reach out to Sam or Meredith! Once formal invitations are mailed to our guests, there will be an RSVP tab on our website where guests will be able to search for their names and respond. We ask that you please RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation. The deadline for responses will be included in the invitation.
