Lake Powell is on the boarder of Utah and Arizona. It's a bit of a trek but that's part of the fun! If coming from California, it's possible to make it in a day but a good stopping point is Mesquite, NV. Virgin River Hotel & Casino has plenty of RV parking and the AC will be much appreciated! 
Once at Powell, there are a few options for stay, such as, beach camping on Lone Rock beach with us, the hotel that is only a short 15 min away, or the campground with plug ins.
On the way home we will be stopping in Las Vegas, NV for the night. :)
