Pro-tip: golden hour at Jersey City's Exchange Place makes for the perfect photo op

The time Sahil convinced Hitakshi to go on a jetski tour of Manhattan. Don't let her smile fool you; she was terrified the entire 2 hours.

Celebrating Hitakshi's birthday for the first time together!

A romantic horseback ride through the forest at a dude ranch. Not as easy as it looks; Hitakshi almost fell off the horse when she ducked under a spiderweb.

Nothing but sun and fun on their trip to the beautiful island of Vieques. It was love at first sight for both!

Getting some much needed shade while strolling on "La Calle de Paraguas" or Street of Umbrellas in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Visiting the famous Rockefeller Christmas tree for Hitakshi's favorite holiday!

Celebrating New Years Eve at Zeppelin Hall, one of their go to bars in Jersey City.

Making the most of the kaleidoscope of colors at the Chihuly Museum in Seattle.

Getting artsy with a clay making class. Something about molding mud over a spinning wheel makes all of life's problems melt away...

Hitakshi doesn't always hike, but when she does, there better be some body of water.

*Insert cheesy line about chasing waterfalls here*

After finally watching the Harry Potter series, Hitakshi was so inspired she signed them up for a "potions" making class in Manhattan's version of Diagon Alley (Stone St.).

The beginning of a long journey together

The moment it was official!

The photo that made a lot of people wonder if they got engaged. Little did Hitakshi know it was happening a few hours later that day!

Hitakshi bravely facing her fear of water to kayak in Mosquito Bay, Vieques. The only light that night was from the eerie blue glow of bioluminescent dinoflagellates, an unforgettable experience.

Sahil once tried to compete and see if he has curlier hair

Hitakshi's first time skiing! Unfortunately she never made it past the bunny hill...so this photo was taken right at the end.

Shared love for Mexican food... can you tell?

Leave it to Sahil to plan a vacation and he decides the best thing would be to go hiking for 6 DAYS... at least we had gorgeous views everywhere!

Day 1 of the 6-day hike... Hitakshi definitely wanted to quit here 😅
