Your presence and openness is all we need, but if you wanted to contribute to our JOURNEY to creating a food forest, we would love to have a little piece of you and your love on our land! NAME of FOOD FOREST: ***Sonny’s Haven Sonny is Jake’s grandfather who lives in his heart and mind and he spent a lot of time in nature. Jake’s family says that they see Sonny in Jake — kind hearted, generous, sweet, and a gentle soul. We wanted to honor Sonny by naming our food forest after him!*** What is a Food Forest? A big physical investment initially, creating an ecosystem of plants and trees that mimics nature and is sustainable all on its own! Hungry? Grab something from the forest. It will probably take us about 5 years for it to be fully fruitful. How can you help? Contribute by funding a tree or chicken (haha). Chickens are great for their droppings, eggs, and pest control! DON’T FORGET TO NAME THE CHICKEN/PLANT when you contribute! THANK YOU FOR CONTRIBUTING TO OUR SOIL!
