Flight

International Flight to Manila, Philippines

Manila International Airport (MNL) is the main hub airport in the Philippines. Upon arrival, you will transfer to domestic terminal via shuttle bus and take a flight to Caticlan Airport (Boracay). Philippine Airlines offers two flights per day from SFO to MNL and are generally the quickest way to fly into Philippines. Alternative airline options are available but require stopovers in Hong Kong, Taipei, or Seoul.

Flight

Domestic Flight to Boracay Island, Philippines

Upon arrival in Manila, guests will need to take a domestic flight to Caticlan Airport on Boracay Island (airport code: MPH). Generally, there are 3-5 flights per day, taking off at various times. The airline we recommend is Cebu Pacific. Please note that because this is a mid-sized flight, they require most luggage to be checked in. Domestic flight from Manila (MNL) to Boracay (MPH) is generally $70 each way.

Travel Note

Boracay Island Airport Transfer

For guests staying at the Shangri-La, there is a private transfer and lounge included with your booking. The hotel has its own port, and will bring you directly to the property. Guests staying at the Shangri-La for only a portion of their trip can still take advantage of this transfer option. Upon collecting bags and exiting airport, guests will need to find their respective hotel attendant, who will be holding a sign and directing them to their transportation. Guests not staying at the Shangri-La, can book an independent transfer directly through their hotel concierge.
