Travel Note
We realize many of you are taking time off work and away from your kids to travel and come celebrate with us, and we want to let you know it means the world to us that you are able to do so! Without your love and friendship, we wouldn't have the support necessary to pull off the celebration we have planned. Flight
Atlantic City (ACY) is the closest airport to our venue, approximately 45 minutes-1 hour south of Toms River. Spirit is currently the only airline operating to/from ACY. (Orlando area friends & family, we highly suggest MCO -ACY for convenience). Trenton Airport (TTN) is approximately 1 hour 10 minutes from the venue, via Frontier Airlines Newark Int'l (EWR) is approximately 1 hour 15-30 minutes north Philadelphia Int'l (PHL) is about 1 hour 45 minutes south
House Or Rental
Hotels in Seaside are NOT recommended, but shore houses definitely are! Search the area (Seaside Park, NJ) on your own with the dates of your travel. The beaches change names every so many miles, so others will pop up...i.e., Lavallette and Ortley are just minutes away. Our venue should show as The Sawmill (in Seaside Park) if you zoom in on the map at the bottom of the listing. Listed here below are some VRBO rental #s (with #s of bedrooms/bathrooms) we found near our venue. They're closer than the hotel mentioned, and if you rent with friends it should end up being a better deal than a hotel room. Travel Note
You'll find cheap flights on Spirit, but keep in mind you also need to pay for bags (checked & overhead; under the seat is the only free option, and they limit you to one bag. Ladies, this means one, not a purse and a bag that fit under the seat together. They will make you consolidate before you board no matter how small the 2 are). You also need to pay for a seat, unless you don't care where you sit or whether or not you sit next to who you're traveling with, then just skip the option and you should be randomly assigned a seat when you check in before departure.
Hotel
CUT OFF DATE WAS 9/25, but if rooms are still available, you can call and try to get the same rate. We have rooms blocked at the rate of $99 + 11.625% sales tax (welcome to Jersey!) valid thru September 25th. To get this rate, you have to CALL 732-908-2589, ask for the front desk (NOT reservations) and say you are with the Rogalski/Petrick wedding. Located 6 miles over the bridge, this is the closest hotel we recommend. We highly suggest NOT booking any hotels or motels in the Seaside area.
Rental Car
Call and press 4, and ask to speak to Kayla, the Branch Manager. If you rent through this location, you'll still need transportation from the airport to Toms River, but it should prove to be cheaper than renting a car at the airport.
