Beautiful square, two minutes walk from The Dean Hotel. Perfect to walk around or sit in with a cup of coffee.
You'll definitely want to visit this street- full of sights, shops, and local pubs; this is the heart of Galway
This is a great spot for a distillery tour within a quick Uber ride from the hotels
This local distillery does a wonderful set of unique Gin and Vodka cocktails. Don't expect to find your usual preference, but you will be thrilled with the cocktail selection. We highly recommend.
Absolutely wonderful restaurant. If you are looking for an incredible meal in one of Galway's nicest restaurants - we HIGHLY encourage eating here. Situated right on the water this place will not disappoint. BE sure to make a reservation in advance (Monday night or Wednesday night).
Just across the river - this is a quintessential Irish Pub often featuring live local music. Great spot for a pint and a tune.
With live music nearly every night, this isa great late night stop if you're looking for a drink, time to socialize and have a good time with locals and tourists alike.
If you are looking for a cracking good time, the Kings Head is going to be full of live music and laughter. A destination visited my locals and tourists, it is sure to be a grand time.
Our favorite little coffee shop on Quay Street for coffee.
Situated on site at the Glenlo Abbey, this historic train car's dinner menu is wonderful. We highly recommend booking this venue for your Wednesday night dinner before the wedding. They offer either a two-course or three-course menu that we have enjoyed ourselves. Please be sure to book in advance by calling or emailing the Glenlo prior to arrival.
We know many of you enjoy golf - the Glenlo Abbey has a wonderful 9 hold golf course and driving range. Please contact Ryan and Douglas if you would like to arrange a tee time on June 1st. We recommend reaching out to the Glenlo Abby Golf Club to inquire about renting clubs.
