We were introduced by a mutual friend that we had both worked with. Our friend thought we would be a perfect match, so she arranged a group camping trip in Colorado and invited us both. We immediately hit it off, but Allison was living in Georgia at the time. When she moved back to Colorado a few months later for work, we went on a hike for our first official date. Ryan considered the hike "easy", but Allison would disagree. But somehow she agreed to a second date, and the rest is history.
