What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to arrive between 3:30 and 3:45pm, as our ceremony will begin at 4.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie optional: Tuxes and gowns are encouraged, but if a suit or cocktail dress is more your style, those are more than welcome. Military members are encouraged to come in their mess dress! Of note: Unless temperatures drop below 50 degrees, our ceremony will be held outside, so be sure to bring a coat if it's a chilly day. Additionally, the ceremony will be held on grass, so ladies may want to reconsider especially spiky stilettos!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus one, please do (and note it in your RSVP)! If not, please refrain. If you're not sure, just ask us!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No. We love your kiddos, but with the exception of family, this is an adults-only event. If you're coming from out of town with the kids and need help finding a responsible sitter, please let us know.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Of course. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions in your RSVP (there will be a space for it!)

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, you can park at the venue. Please park along the driveway, with one set of tires on the grass to allow room for vendors to get through. You can also take Uber or Lyft. For trips to/from Old Town Alexandria (including from both hotel blocks), use our Lyft voucher (code AMANDARYAN).

How do I get there from your hotel block?

Answer

Uber or Lyft are your best options if you don't have a rental car! Use Lyft code AMANDARYAN for a $25 voucher, which ought to cover your trip!
