They've been best friends since high school and was Uriel's first guitar teacher. He equipped Uriel with the tools to succeed musically but also socially by giving him the confidence to express himself freely and unafraid. Today Juan still continues to give him advice and support on all his endeavors.

Rubes and Mads bonded over the trauma of what was Langham Creek Marching Band and more happily over Twilight and midnight movie premiers. You can't help but become close friends after that. They've been able to stay life friends even after Maddie went to UT (jk!). Rubi has always admired Maddie's confidence, dedication, and optimism and excited to have Maddie stand by her side! #ClarinetQueens4eva

They've been best friends since college and have travelled together across the country. Mike is a funny and comical person, best dealing with situational humor, but he's also smart, reliable and a trustworthy friend. Mike was there the night Rubi and Uriel met, and has had a front seat to the ride that is their realtionship.
Brisa Leal

Brisa is one of Rubi's Aggie gals (whoop!). They have been friends since meeting each other through Project Sunshine. Brisa is one of the nicest and most positively energetic people Rubi has ever met. She is a very loyal friend, and Rubi is very lucky to have her friendship!
Gilberto Morales

Gilberto has been Uriel's best friend since middle school and have grown tremendously together. They bonded over video games at a young age and even travelled to California for Vidcon; a Youtube convention. Gilberto is often quiet and reserved but he's highly observant and pays huge attention to detail. When Uriel encounters a roadblock Gilberto is the calm, cool and collected voice of reason to get him through the storm.
Kim Houghton

Kim and Rubi's friendship also came out of the Lobo band, and they also happily bonded over Harry Potter and good books. They are great travel buddies and have had several adventures abroad. They are now both engaged at the same time! More importantly, Kim is the Hufflepuff to Rubi's Gryffindor. #PotterHeads

Erick at first was a tough critic of Uriel in high school, but eventually they gained each other's trust and respect and became great friends. Erick has a wide range of interests from magic, music, forex, crypto and more, and is laser-focused in everything he does. They continue to support each other so they can each be the best version of themselves.
Laurel Talkington

Laurel is one of Rubi's most gentle and sweetest friends! They met back in their TAMU college days and have attended so many Aggie football games together! They love to geek out over Disney, Harry Potter, and Star Wars. They loved to take mini trips together during their single days, so Rubi was so excited to stand at Laurel's wedding last year and now Laurel gets to do the same.
Mauricio Fuentes

Mauricio is an extraordinarily gifted and talented musician, despite not knowing any music theory. He has a natural knack for music and all things creative including drawing and break-dancing. Despite only being a few weeks older than Uriel, he loves to boast that he's his senior and has imparted lots of his knowledge and wisdom over the years.

Rubi met Maddie while they were both attending Texas A&M (whoop!) and working at the same job! #BeckyGates They bonded over Project Sunshine, feminism, and musical Broadway (yes Hamilton rocks and Dear Evan Hansen was life changing). Rubi can always count on Maddie for her ferocity, enthusiasm, and cheer <3
