Great place for a casual authentic mexican lunch. All outdoor overlooking the vineyard, they have animals roaming around the property roaming around. Its definitely a fun place and very affordable
One of the nicer restaurants in the Valle. Run by a well known chef that also have a restaurant in Mexico City. Higher-end, but was named one of the best restaurants in the world (or so we've been told ;) ) They only have tasting menus available - 4 or 8 course
Countless places to go wine tasting. See some of our favorites below *please note, some of these require reservations ahead of time - Decantos - Monte Xanic - Finca La Carrodilla - Adobe Guadalupe - Vinas de Garza - Clos de tres Cantos - Vinnas Frannes - Casa Frida - Cieli Winery ... etc. the options are endless!
Be prepared to wait in line for at least an hour. This place is extremely popular because the food is so good. Its authentic large portion Mexican homecooked breakfast. This isnt fancy by any means, but its where all the locals go and the food is great.
*Please note to always make reservations ahead of time Deckman is an American chef that has been living and operating his restaurant in the Valle for many years now. He cooks everything over fire in his outdoor kitchen. Food is great, ambiance is great, really nice place to be for sunset.
Valle is not somewhere you can just show up and get seated, unless you are incredible lucky. You must make reservations at least a few weeks in advance for anywhere you want to go for lunch or dinner. Valle is incredibly popular and things will book up. Including wine tasting appointments
One of my favorties in the Valle. The restaurant is at the same property where our wedding is. The food is incredible. Its slightly higher end, but still very affordable compared to what you would be paying in the US for the food quality. Worth it!! If you go, I recommend the Chef's experimental menu- its A LOT of food, but it might have been one of our favorite meals of all time.
