Are children invited?

We LOVE your kids - just not at our wedding. This is an adults-only event!

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Please don't! We firmly ask that you remain unplugged and in the present moment with us. Our photographer will be capturing the day for us and the last thing we want is photos of our guests' phones. Our officiant will guide us through a brief opportunity for a quick photo at the top of the ceremony.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive by 5:00pm so we can begin the service promptly.

Are you registered? Where?

With Zola and Anthropologie. You can get to the links from the "Registry" tab of this site.

Can I bring a date?

Only if specified on your invitation.

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Answer

The Maridor has some parking on property and on the street. There is also plenty of parking at the church across the street, which we are welcome to use.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately no, it was not in our budget to provide. Uber/Lyft is accessible and the trip is ~10 minutes between The Hotel Roanoke and The Maridor.

Are there additional hotel accommodations?

Answer

Hampton Inn & Suites and The Liberty Inn and Trust are both located in downtown Roanoke as additional hotel options to look into if you do not wish to stay at the Hotel Roanoke. We do not have room blocks set up at those locations. There are several AirBnB options available for downtown or in the surrounding mountains.
