Best Western Mountain Lodge at Banner Elk

This is the closest hotel to the wedding venue. It’s on the basic side but very clean and amenities like crazy ie there’s a popcorn machine in the lobby. Block rates are $144.99 a night. Shuttles will be provided from this location on Friday and Saturday nights.

This hotel is a little further away from the wedding festivities, but is a little more upscale than the Best Western. You are also adjacent to the hustle and bustle of the thriving metropolis of Boone, NC (there's a two-story Wendy's and a Taco Bell...a regular Times Square). Call the hotel and mention the Robb-Rhodes wedding to receive the block room rate of $179/night. The cut off date for this block will be 5/31/2019. There will be shuttles provided from this location on both Friday and Saturday nights.

There are a lot of airbnb options in the area (Linville, Newland, Blowing Rock) that are available for the weekend and can accomodate 2-8 guests. There are parts of Boone that are pretty far away from the wedding festivities, so be careful.

Home and condo rentals within 10-15 minutes of the wedding venue. Book early (before January) because these tend to go quickly, especially since there is another, probably less good but can’t confirm, wedding at the club that weekend. Rentals available for 2-14 occupants.
