Cherokee Park
Cherokee Park is my absolute favorite park in Louisville. There is a 2.4 mile scenic loop through the rolling hills, meadows and woodlands, with lanes for both vehicle and recreational traffic. Great place to spend the day!
Louisville Zoo
Who doesn't love the zoo? The Louisville Zoo is the perfect place to take the whole family! There are so many fun things to see and doo from animals to train rides to the carousel, you'll have a full day of adventures.
Mall St. Matthews
I may frequent this mall too often! Mall St. Matthews is a great destination for all your shopping needs. The Cheesecake Factory and Red Robin along with a food court are also located in the mall.
Climb NuLu
Climb Nulu is where I got my climbing bug! If you are ever up for a good time this is the place to go. Climbing is for all ages with work out equipment, a yoga studio, a kid's room, and the main training area you are sure to have fun!
Bernheim Forest
If you love to hike and enjoy nature, Bernheim is one of the best places just outside of Louisville to do it! With tons of options for trials to finding the amazing giants, it is great for adults and kids!
Big Four Bridge
The Big Four Bridge is a six-span former railroad truss bridge that crosses the Ohio River, connecting Louisville, Kentucky, and Jeffersonville, Indiana. It has now been renovated as a walking bridge! Definitely a place to enjoy a nice walk during the day and a beautiful site to see at night!
