We first met our freshman year during Red White Week, a themed week at DuPont Manual High School. Our mutual friend, Jaclyn, decided to introduce us because she thought we'd hit it off! Well, my first impression of Rob was quite hilarious because he was dressed as a baby and played the act well with all 5 feet of him. It wasn't until Junior year that we started seeing more of each other. Rob would walk me back from lunch to my art class as he walked to his German class. By the end of junior year, it was pretty obvious that I had a huge crush on Rob even though he was oblivious. Over the Summer, I finally had the courage to ask Rob for his number! Our first date didn't come long after when he took me to his favorite fishing spot! More dates followed and on August 28th, 2013 Rob finally had the courage to ask me to be his girlfriend by the water fountain on the third floor of DuPont Manual High School. The rest is history!

We were heading down to Lexington to meet up with my best friend, Michelle. Michelle's birthday was coming up so we decided to stay with her and plan a day trip to Red River Gorge! Rob and Michelle had been secretly planning this proposal for months while I was completely left in the dark... As we headed towards Red River Gorge to hike with Michelle, her boyfriend, and her friend, I was still oblivious. Just getting into videography, I decided this adventure would be a great opportunity to film. So although Rob was dying of anticipation, he patiently waited as I took wayyyy too long filming everything I could. As we finally get up to the top of the Natural Bridge, you can tell Rob had started getting anxious. I still hadn't noticed as we decided to walk to the other side to get a better view of the bridge for pictures. As we are taking our picture Rob gets down on one knee and proposes!
