Valerie & Andrew

Valerie and Andrew first met at a fundraiser for Birch Community Services in July 2017. Two years later, in November 2019, Valerie started working at Birch as a fellow member of the leadership team. They slowly realized they had many of the same goals in how to serve families well at Birch and developed a friendship as colleagues. In April 2023, they started spending time together outside of work leading to their first date in May. Since then, they have continued to enjoy working together while also traveling together, skiing together, and walking their dogs together.
