Falls Park on the Reedy
Located in the middle of downtown, the small but lovely Falls Park is a beautiful place to meander, jog, or just sit and watch the ducks. Liberty Bridge offers a view of the falls, some old mill ruins, and the park's gardens. Take the steps or elevator up to Spill the Beans for an ice cream cone while you're there!
M.Judson Booksellers
Dan and I are both suckers for a local bookstore, and we adore M.Judson. Their great selection of books is complemented by local goods, funny surcees, and a café to satisfy your sugar and caffeine cravings while you browse.
Mice on Main
Keep an eye out for these little bronze beasts while you're walking around downtown - Dan loves them!
Coffee Underground
Riley has been enjoying Coffee Underground's coffee and milkshakes since high school. It's a cozy spot with a wide selection of goodies and plenty of comfy seating.
Swamp Rabbit Trail
Ambitious cyclists and runners can tackle all 22 miles of the Swamp Rabbit Trail - the rest of us can still enjoy the stretch accessible from downtown connecting Cleveland Park, Cancer Survivors Park, and Falls Park. Art Crossing
Art Crossing at Riverplace is steps off of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, just downstairs from the Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn. Local artists offer studio tours and the opportunity to buy original works - check it out on your way back from a walk through Falls Park!
