Things To Do

Greenville is a special place for us - Riley lived here while she attended SCGSAH for high school, and we have enjoyed all that downtown has to offer when we visit together. Whether you prefer time outdoors, checking out local arts, or finding a good meal, you will enjoy the options here. These are a few of our favorites!
Falls Park on the Reedy

Falls Park on the Reedy

601 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601

Located in the middle of downtown, the small but lovely Falls Park is a beautiful place to meander, jog, or just sit and watch the ducks. Liberty Bridge offers a view of the falls, some old mill ruins, and the park's gardens. Take the steps or elevator up to Spill the Beans for an ice cream cone while you're there!

M.Judson Booksellers

M.Judson Booksellers

130 South Main Street, Greenville, SC 29601

Dan and I are both suckers for a local bookstore, and we adore M.Judson. Their great selection of books is complemented by local goods, funny surcees, and a café to satisfy your sugar and caffeine cravings while you browse.

Mice on Main

Mice on Main

220 N Main St Suite 500, Greenville, SC 29601

Keep an eye out for these little bronze beasts while you're walking around downtown - Dan loves them!

Coffee Underground

Coffee Underground

1 East Coffee Street, Greenville, SC 29601

Riley has been enjoying Coffee Underground's coffee and milkshakes since high school. It's a cozy spot with a wide selection of goodies and plenty of comfy seating.

Swamp Rabbit Trail

Swamp Rabbit Trail

Swamp Rabbit Trail, Greenville, SC

Ambitious cyclists and runners can tackle all 22 miles of the Swamp Rabbit Trail - the rest of us can still enjoy the stretch accessible from downtown connecting Cleveland Park, Cancer Survivors Park, and Falls Park. Rent your bikes from Reedy Rides, who will deliver rentals to you on the trail or in the downtown area.

Art Crossing

Art Crossing

101 Swamp Rabbit Trail, Greenville, SC 29601

Art Crossing at Riverplace is steps off of the Swamp Rabbit Trail, just downstairs from the Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn. Local artists offer studio tours and the opportunity to buy original works - check it out on your way back from a walk through Falls Park!

Bar Margaret

Bar Margaret

1269 Pendleton Street, Greenville, SC 29611

We love Bar Margaret! Located in Greenville's West Village, the drinks are delicious, glassware is quirky, and environment is welcoming. Try the Korean Bites (app), Wedgie (salad), and An Even Gooder Burger (self-explanatory).

For all the days along the way
