For those of you who may not know, Peter and Renee met in the Fall of 2017. Renee was out watching Sunday football (aka another Jets’ disappointment) with a mutual friend of Peter’s whom she had worked with. Peter walked in the bar after a long day of fishing and something other than the stench of the sea had made her head turn. That something was his charm and how he had a genuine gift for making everyone in the room laugh. She asked her friend for Peter’s number after he had left and they soon after went on a date the following weekend. From the first night they spent together they quickly fell head over heels for each other, and Peter couldn’t wait much longer to make Renee his girlfriend. Over the past nearly six years, two doggies, a house, countless laughs, boat days, couch cuddles, and sunsets together they are eager and excited to celebrate their love in becoming husband and wife surrounded by all of their loved ones. They couldn’t have dreamed of a venue more suiting or more magical than a place they had long ago fell in love with - Kismet, Fire Island. It was always our fate, just as we are each others.
