The perfect spot for morning coffee, pastry, and breakfast sandwich. James loves the pour over coffee, and Renata is partial to the downtown latte. There are two locations, one in Toledo and one in Perrysburg.
This coffee and dessert spot close to the hotel. They also have light food options. They have the best cheesecake that you must try! In the evening, the downstairs turns into a speakeasy.
This is a downtown Toledo favorite for breakfast and lunch. It is right across the street from the hotel.
A rooftop bar at Renaissance Hotel in downtown Toledo. The perfect spot for a drink between hotel check in and the wedding ceremony.

A great spot with amazing decor and ambiance, plus a fabulous burger, in downtown Toledo.
This is a great ramen lunch spot. Place your name on the door before 11 AM and arrive at 11 to ensure you will get a table. The hassle is well worth it!
This is the place to try a local beer. It is right across the street from Kato, so come here after enjoying some ramen. We like their IPAs.

The Farmers’ Market runs from 8 AM to 2 PM on Saturday. Even in the off season, there are quite a few vendors.
This is behind the Farmers’ Market. Enter through Toledo Lamp Company. From there, you can explore a few different galleries showcasing local artists. While buying art for their house, James and Renata learned they have very different taste in art in these very galleries.

The museum is a gorgeous place to spend an afternoon. Admission is free and parking is $10. Make sure to walk across the street to the Glass Pavilion.
One of Renata’s favorite places to shop. Yogaja has the best selection of athleisure and accessories.
After shopping at Yogaja, come here for a pastry. They are right next door. The owner, Claire, is a doctor turned baker and has created the cutest shop with the yummiest desserts.
Renata, James, and Barry love coming here for a walk. There are a few different routes to take. Renata’s favorite is the Upland Woods Trail (Red Route). Renata always makes sure James comes along- without him she has/will get lost in the woods.
If you venture to Perrysburg to shop, stop here for some wine and appetizers. Pro tip: ask if a couch is available instead of a table.
An adorable spot in Perrysburg for a juice or smoothie and a snack, according to Renata. James, however, does not recommend this spot.
A great lunch spot in Perrysburg. James loves the Shish Kabob Sandwich, and Renata loves the Veggie Pita. Be sure to ask for the sandwiches Zingos style (toasted). There is also a location next to Yogaja/Dollop Shop if your ventures take you that way.
The place where James exclusively buys all of Renata’s gifts. You cannot go wrong with any of the clothes or accessories here.
