The Wedding Website of Katie Peterson and Austin Reichert
If you have any questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out to Austin or Katie.
Question

Where is the wedding being held?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at Kevin and Becky Allen's family home, (Austin's aunt and uncle), in Columbia Falls, MT. The property is somewhat remote, atop a mountain overlooking the Flathead Valley. There are several switchbacks along a dirt road to get up to the property, and thus, transportation up the mountain will be provided. Parking at the bottom is limited, so carpooling amongst our wedding guests is strongly suggested. Because cars will need to park at the bottom of the hill, access to vehicles during the wedding will be difficult. A shuttle service will be available to transport guests up and down the mountain prior to the ceremony and later in the evening. The wedding will be outdoors. Expect sunny temperatures in the 80s and 90s, but cross your fingers for a breeze!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5 pm. Please arrive ~30 minutes prior to find your way up the mountain and take your seat.

Question

What should guests wear to the wedding?

Answer

Formal or semi-formal dress is encouraged. The wedding will be taking place outdoors on gravel. We strongly suggest flat-bottom shoes or thicker-heeled shoes (no stilettos) for the ladies.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests and family members listed explicitly on the invitation attend the wedding. If you received a "plus one," your guest's name is listed on your invitation and appears under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we plan to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. If you plan on bringing your children along with you, please specify that when you RSVP.

Question

I've never been to Montana before . . . what should I expect?

Answer

Beautiful views EVERYWHERE you go!! With the gorgeous landscape however, comes just that... lots of remote areas. Cell service is largely available throughout the valley, but can be spotty in some places, including at the wedding venue. Verizon customers tend to have the most reliability; AT&T is somewhat spotty; and there is little availability for Sprint users. Ride-sharing apps like Uber and Lyft are also limited. These services do exist in Columbia Falls, however, are not as readily available as one may be used to. Due to the nature of the area, a rental car is most reliable way transportation. We hope you can use our wedding as an excuse to take some time off of work and enjoy an unplugged lifestyle on mountain time ;)
