Think “garden glam” | Summer cocktail dresses and suits. It will be warm out being mid August, but temps will drop at night in the mid 60s, bring a wrap or jacket just in case you get chilly. The wedding is located in a vineyard, there will be flooring installed in the tented reception space. A thicker heel is encouraged instead of a stiletto (but you do you.) Groomsmen will be in a black suit. Bridesmaids are in white.
Yep! See "Travel and Accommodations" page. The room block requires a 2 night stay with a 4pm check-in time. The ceremony is on Saturday at 4pm. Friday arrivals are encouraged.
See transportation page for details. We will have 1 shuttle picking up guests from the Holiday Inn, and 1 from a central location downtown New Buffalo. The shuttles will also take guests back to the hotel at the end of the night. The second to the same central location where anyone can join for the afterparty or head to their hotel / rental. There are little to no uber / lyft options in town. Unless someone in your group is driving, please plan to take the shuttles. It is a 30 min trip to the venue from New Buffalo.
Please arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled ceremony start time to grab a drink, say hello to friends, and take your seat. You should be seated no less than 5 minutes before the processional. If you arrive late, or 5 minutes after the start time, please hold back until Erin walks down the aisle as to to not interrupt the ceremony.
Unless your invitation envelope was addressed to "you + guest", please do not bring additional friends, dates, or family. There are a certain number of seats and plates that have been accounted for.
As much as we love your little ones, this is a child free event. If you have questions or concerns please don't hesitate to reach out.
Open bar dude! There will be beer, wine, cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Reese and Erin are staying in a rental home in downtown New Buffalo. Feel free to rent one as well or use the room block in the accommodations page! Our rental is located near the corner of W Indiana and S Harrison St. There are little to no Ubers. The closer to new Buffalo you stay the better for the shuttles.
