Reese and I met during a big group brunch at Hutch American Bistro in Chicago. We were sitting with just one person between us. Crazy to think our entire future was just one seat away. We didn't talk much beyond the initial introduction from a mutual friend, and a quick conversation about "Black Mirror" while waiting for our table. Though we definitely caught each other's attention. Having just come back from living in Michigan a short time, I sent a message to the group a few days later to see if anyone wanted to join me at Kingston Mines for some live music. Reese responded (excited to spend time with me) and came! We ended up having a blast. We spent that following days together, and the weekend after that, and the one after that etc. The rest is history.
