What is cocktail attire? Ultimately, it aims to strike a balance between formal and casual, as well as elegant and comfortable. For an event with this dress code, such as a wedding, men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress.

due to limited space, we ask that only named invitees are in attendance.

Our ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM, we ask that guests arrive around 4:30 PM.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

our venue has ample parking. Please don't drink and drive! The Island House allows guest to leave their cars overnight but they must be picked up the next day between 9am and 4pm.

Is there transportation to and from hotels to the venue?

Answer

While we will not be providing any transportation, The Island House is close enough to Charleston that rideshare options should be available to you.
