Reese and Campbell crossed paths in the early fall of twenty-thirteen, during their first weeks of high school. Upon that initial meeting, it became clear that there would seldom be a dull moment between the two. They argued over who had a better taste in music, in books, and who had a crush and who didn’t. They stole glances across the aisle of a school bus, and exchanged a few heart emojis over text. They do regret to inform their families that the two of them may have skipped a class to meet and whisper in the school library, where they shared a first kiss sometime in the spring. Life changed rapidly, time passed seamlessly (as it does for everyone during those teenage years), but both Campbell and Reese found it nearly impossible to shake the connection they shared. They began dating the summer they were nineteen and what started as schoolyard taunting grew into real love and friendship, deep and true. With the passing of each memory made, it became clear that their lives were meant to be lived together and never apart. Campbell took Reese on a trip to New Orleans for her twenty-fourth birthday in the fall of twenty-twenty two where he proposed to her under a massive oak on an unusually warm October afternoon at the New Orleans Botanical Gardens. The moment was perfect, romantic, timeless, and they shared just the right amount of nervousness as Campbell brought himself to one knee. No hidden photographer, no over rehearsed speech, just the two of them and God. Campbell and Reese find an unmatched joy when laughing together, singing along to songs in the car, praying hand in hand, doting on their beloved cat, Quinby, and can’t wait to share the next joyous chapter of their story with you at their wedding this September.
