Eight years ago, Rebecca and Darren’s amazing adventure in love began on a dating app called OK Cupid (this was before Tender was a big thing). Rebecca messaged Darren first. After about a month of communicating with each other, Rebecca finally made a trip to Dayton, where Darren was living, to meet him in person. From that day on, the two have been pretty much inseparable. Together, they have made a home with their son, Antwann, and three fur babies over the last six years, and have experienced countless life adventures! Their love was one they had to fight for, often like love stories we find in fairytales. Although there have been plenty of obstacles, trials and tribulations, they and their relationship have only become stronger. They have grown into not just partners, but best friends. It’s the kind of love that is hard to find, and they choose it and each other every day. Darren decided to “pop the question,” on August 16, 2020. Obviously, Rebecca said yes! It is for this reason they have decided to invite the ones that mean the most to them to witness this next chapter of their story! We hope you all will come celebrate their happily ever after!
