The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. We ask guests to arrive no more than 15 minutes early. If you do arrive earlier, there is a bar on site where you can grab a quick drink while you wait!
They sure are. We made it easy. Once you get there, you don't have to leave until the party is over. Plus, it's an open bar and we don't want anyone driving back and forth to several places!
We're pretty laid back people and our venue certainly fits that. Cocktail attire works perfectly (jumpsuits, cocktail dresses, slacks, jackets, etc.). Want to dress black tie? Go for it! Whatever makes you comfortable. We just ask you wear pants and try to keep your shirts on.
We LOVE your kids. I mean it. But our venue only holds 140 people so we made the difficult decision to exclude children (anyone under 18 years old) from our wedding night. We hope you understand as this was a difficult decision to make!
Yes! We love and value each of our guests coming to share the love and celebrate with us. There will be transportation from the hotel to the venue prior to the ceremony, then back to the hotel once the reception has ended. We want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves as much as we will, so we've got you covered!
Yes! There is a parking lot available to those who will be driving themselves free of charge. Please use the parking lot off of Waterloo Road, as it is specifically designated for the venue space.
We have reserved a patio space at the Fairfield Inn and Suites where our hotel block is until 2 am on Sunday so that we can continue to "party" after the wedding reception has ended. This will be a BYOB situation, however, and no one is required to come!
We kindly ask that all guests keep their phones and any other electronic devices stowed away during the ceremony. Our photographer is wonderful and we promise to share all our photos with you. The reception, however, is fair game. Take all the pictures you want!
-Bone in short rib, served with whipped potatoes, carrots, and pearl onions. -Seared scallops with pumpkin risotto, pepitas, and sautéed autumn kale. -Almond poblano pesto pasta- almond pesto, Parmesan, and chiles. (it is not spicy)
NO. You cannot smoke on site. You must be outside the venue doors (essentially the sidewalk to the parking lot). No smoking will be tolerated on the venue grounds.
Yes! We have registries with Target, Amazon, Zola, and Bed Bath and Beyond. Of course, buying gifts off our registries is completely optional- so do not feel like you HAVE to buy us something. We appreciate your presence more than anything.
We will be doing what is called a "dollar dance"- a fun tradition from Randall's hometown. For those of you unfamiliar with this, it is when guests pay a dollar to dance with the bride or groom briefly while music plays. So bring your dollar bills (or twenties, you know...whatever) and dance, dance, dance with us!! (Of course this is completely optional, and we will dance with anyone regardless if money is provided- it is just a fun way to get to spend a few seconds with each of our guests one on one)
