While we absolutely love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that you can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to leave the kids at home so that you can unwind and celebrate with us.
We encourage all guests to wear formal Indian clothing, however we welcome formal western attire as well. A change of clothing is not necessary for the different ceremonies. For women, if you choose to wear a Saree, we recommend purchasing something pre-draped, as these can be complicated to fold without prior experience. If you choose to wear a Lehenga, we recommend double checking your bust and waist measurements to assure a great fit for top and skirt. For Men, a Sherwani jacket and pants are the customary choice for Indian formalwear. Yes! For the health and safety of our guests, we have chosen a completely open air wedding venue. While Bakersfield is typically 65-75 degrees during the day in November, temperatures fall into the 50s at night. There will be heaters in the reception tent, however we recommend bringing a jacket or a wrap in case it gets cold.
