What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guest arrival begins at 5:15pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:45 pm, so please be sure to arrive with enough time to find your seats before the bride and groom walk down the aisle!

How do I access the Lightner Museum?

Answer

The entrance to the Historic Pool where our ceremony will be held is on Grenada Street. If being dropped off by a ride share, provide the driver with the address "34 Grenada Street," and look out for a blue and white striped awning with a sign indicating "Historic Alcazar Pool/Cafe Alcazar."

Can I take photos and videos on my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

The Bride and Groom respectfully ask you to refrain from using your cellphone to capture photos and videos during the ceremony. They have hired two photographers and two videographers whose entire job all day long is to capture these moments. The Bride and Groom will happily send you the professional photos when they are available. But please feel free to take all photos you want during the reception (and send them to us!!).

What is the dress code?

Let's get dressed up! The dress code is Black-Tie Optional.

What is black-tie optional?

Answer

For women, black-tie optional attire includes long or floor length dresses in darker hues. Midi or knee length dresses are also acceptable. For men, black-tie optional attire includes darker-colored suits or tuxedos.

Can I bring a date?

The wedding invitations will list everyone invited to our wedding. If you see "Guest" or your significant other's name, we hope that they can join us!

While we love your little ones, use our special day as an opportunity to go kid-free and let loose!

Am I invited to the Welcome Party?

Answer

Yes! We invite all of our friends and family to join us Friday evening starting at 8:30 pm at the Chatsworth Pub. We will have drinks and light bites to celebrate the night before! Check our "Schedule" tab for more information.

Is parking available at the Lightner?

Answer

While the Lightner does not offer parking options, there are pay-by-hour street parking options nearby. However, we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft so you can enjoy the night without the worry of having to drive home afterwards. If you do plan to drive, a nearby paid lot can be located at 80 Grenada Street.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held indoors. The average temperature in St. Augustine in November is low 60s to low 70s.
