What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We do not have extreme expectations of a dress code. But if you would prefer to have a guideline: think semi-casual/cocktail. It will be at a park and thus dress accordingly.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

West Michigan Junes are usually absolutely gorgeous. But as most of you are aware, Michigan loves to be unpredictable. We have a backup plan for the ceremony in case of rain. But generally, plan on sunshine, and refreshing warm temps.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both will take place at Wabasis Lake Park in Greenville.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (as long as the weather is coporating), and the reception will take place inside.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Family pictures will also take place. While you are waiting we will have ping-pong, cornhole, ladder ball, and some drinks!

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible. After the formal invitations go out, the RSVPs will take place on this website. So please RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

The park has plenty of parking and is free to park. There will be people around directing where to park, as well as signs.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Please check out our "Travel" section on the Website! There is listed Hotels in Greenville closest to the venue, and some closer to Grand Rapids and a bit further from the venue.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline is May 6, 2020. You will be able to do it online once the formal invitations are sent out.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food? Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/ special diet options?

Answer

There will be food and drinks at our reception! We will be having Noodles & Co. When you RSVP you will be able to specify your dietary needs, and the great thing about Noodles & Co. is that it can be accommodated for your needs!!

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Target as well as Bed, Bath and Beyond! There is a page on this website specifically for the registry, there it will take you directly to our registry!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Our ceremony will be "unplugged", but after that, we encourage you to take as many pictures and post on your social media to your heart's content. Our only request is to use our wedding hashtag, #stockmanandstockwoman, so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Are there any local places you'd recommend I visit while I'm in town?

Answer

Yes! Grand Rapids is such an amazing place! On our website, we have a page "Things to Do"! Check it out to see some of the recommendations of what to do around the area!
