After meeting briefly through a mutual friends' engagement (hi Hannah and Mike!), and having a crush on each other from afar, Emily and Quinn finally started dating after Emily gave the cute tall bartender her phone number on a napkin. Somebody's got to make the first move!

Quinn planned on proposing to Emily sometime in the Winter of 2019, and was just waiting for the right time. After Emily texted him about a new restaurant she wanted to try in Brooklyn on a Friday night, he decided that was the moment. Little did he know Emily invited Quinn's cousins (Hi Lizzy and Brendan!) who live down the street to join them for drinks. Quinn had to sit through dinner and drinks with the ring in his pocket, all plans for a private proposal ruined. He finally proposed the next morning while they were eating breakfast, and they celebrated that evening at a local bar with friends and family. Best day ever!
