We met during our sophomore year in high school. Being Gen Z as we are, we first started playing video games together. Then it grew into something more as we began to bond over our favorite class, Forensic and Debate. Every year during the winter, they tell the students that there will be a winter Met Gala dance that we have to attend for fundraising for our class. So we participated in the school Met Gala dance. At first, we were too shy to approach each other, both of us making jokes about how dumb this dance was, however, Trenton decided that we should waltz to at least one dance. We started dancing and didn't stop that whole night. We danced together for hours. We both fell in love, looking into each other's eyes as the night went on.

As a college graduation present, we took a trip together to Disney World. On our second day there we went to Epcot to enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival. When we got to the France pavilion, we saw there was a Beauty and The Beast (which is my favorite movie) flower topiary. So he suggested that we take a picture together in front of it. He asked a nice couple to take a picture for us and before I knew it, he was on his knees asking to marry me. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
