Flight
New York City has multiple airports (including Newark and LaGuardia), but JFK is definitely the closest to the ceremony and reception venues in southern Brooklyn (approximately only twenty minutes to both locations without heavy traffic via car). Delta Airlines has a large hub at JFK, but the airport services nearly all major domestic and international airlines.
Train
If you plan on traveling to our wedding ceremony via public transportation, the closest option is the F Subway Train - Avenue X Station. The station is about a five to ten minute walk to the ceremony venue. You can catch the F train in Manhattan along the Sixth Avenue Line (which is convenient for guests using Amtrak, LIRR, or MetroNorth trains). Our reception and ceremony venues are also available via local MTA bus routes. You may visit mta.info for more information about local bus stops.
Travel Note
Our wedding will be taking place on Labor Day weekend -- a conscious choice so that our guests may have an extra day to recover and/or travel (and hopefully won't have to take off time from work). However, please remember that a large number of people will be traveling via all modes of transportation (so expect longer than average wait times). For our guests who will be driving, vehicle traffic tends to be heavy during this holiday weekend, so please plan accordingly.
Hotel
We are working on securing hotel blocks for our out-of-town guests. We will update you soon with more information. We appreciate your patience!
