Yes! With our in-person guest count being limited to a small, intimate gathering for the health and safety of our guests, we will provide a live stream for all those we want to share this moment with. More details will be communicated via e-mail closer to the wedding and live stream details will be shared on our website the morning of our wedding on March 20th.
Weather-permitting, we are putting all our efforts to plan for wedding events (ceremony & reception) to be outdoors on the rooftop of the Kimpton. Unfortunately, we will not be able to make this decision until about a week prior to the wedding as we monitor the weather. Regardless of whether the wedding will be held outdoors or indoors (within the hotel), the Kimpton will mandate all guests to wear masks at all times and sit socially-distanced by family. The only exception to take off your mask is for dining/drinking during which guests will not be permitted to leave/socialize outside of their own table.
For guests who RSVP to attend in person, Jason and Sarah are providing on-site rapid testing for guests to take prior to the in-person wedding events. Specific details on the logistics of administering these tests will be communicated via e-mail at a date closer to the wedding, to those who RSVP accordingly.
Currently, we have invited 50 guests abiding within the guidelines that the Kimpton hotel has laid out, given that Philadelphia continues to progress in a positive trajectory. We do not plan on exceeding this number even if the situation were to improve drastically come March. If the government mandates us to restrict our guest count, we will abide by these new standards and communicate this to our guests as soon as possible. For guests who are unable or not comfortable attending in person, we completely respect and understand your decisions. We hope that you can still join us virtually to attend our ceremony.
We are committed to making our covenant at the altar on March 20 understanding that if the situation does not improve, we will still marry one another before immediate family as our contingency. While we realize this is not the day we would have imagined, we are mentally preparing for this possibility, and are nonetheless excited to have our loved ones join virtually as we begin this new chapter of our lives.
