Walker planned a perfect night. Under the ruse that my brother, Matt, had received a promotion, my sister-in-law, Meredith, and I went shopping following a conveniently timed half day of work, for outfits to celebrate his “promotion” celebration that was scheduled for that evening. We met up with Walker and my brother at the beautiful rooftop restaurant at Restoration Hardware. We ordered appetizers and drinks and were enjoying the beautiful September night, while unbenonst to me, Meredith was carefully scouting out the beautiful outdoor patio area waiting for the perfect moment to jump in so we could go outside and take pictures all together. We got out to the patio, took a few photos and then Walker turned to me, said how much he loved me, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! After a very tearful and overwhelmed yes, he put the most beautiful ring I’ve ever seen, on my finger and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him. He had both of our families in on the surprise as well, so after dinner, we went back to a beautiful engagement party with our families to celebrate our engagement. We are so excited to celebrate with our loved ones in this new season and cant wait to spend forever together!
