Brandon and I met on the dating app Hinge. After messaging each other back and forth for a couple of days we decided to meet in real life. I had mentioned having a gift card to use and would be coming to the Quad Cities. After shopping, I met him at The 11th Street Precinct in the Village of East Davenport. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. The conversation came easy and we were both having a great time. Little did I know that Brandon was also keeping a close eye on the Packers game that was on the TV behind me (a sign of things to come). I had a church event that afternoon so I had to cut the date short. After a wonderful time, we said our goodbyes and I headed back to Dixon. Shortly after leaving the restaurant I received a text from him about how well our date went and the possibility of doing it again. We saw each other the following week in Dixon and again the next weekend. We have been together ever since.
