We welcome Formal attire for our wedding day. Please note that for shoes we recommend block/thicker heels or something more comfortable, as you may be required to walk on grass, or nearby a pool (plus we will be dancing all night!). John's Island Club also has a dress code: no blue denim is permitted and no hats or visors may be worn inside any Club facility. Our wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be held outdoors. Our Reception will be held inside a tent. Please dress accordingly.
Typically, the temperature during this time of year ranges between 50 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure everyone's comfort, the reception will be held in a well-equipped tent. We recommend dressing in layers—perhaps a light sweater or a wrap over your outfit—so you can easily adjust to the indoor and outdoor settings throughout the event.
You have two main options to get to the venue. The first is there will be several buses that will be rotating between the main hotels that our guests are staying at (shuttle schedule on Travel & schedule pages of this website). Or you can drive to the John's Island Beach Club where parking will be available.
Please arrive beginning at 4 PM and by 4:15 PM to allow the ceremony to begin promptly at 4:30 PM
No - Outside of family we have kept the attendees to just adults
The timeline for the event are as follows: i) Ceremony: 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM ii) Cocktail Hour: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM iii) Reception: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM iv) After Party At Rafters (at wedding venue): 10:00 PM to 12:00 PM
Yes. A garage and multiple parking lots surround the John's Island Beach Club that you will be able to park at.

Yes all the events will have fully open-bars
Your presence is present enough, but we ask that people do not bring gifts to the wedding as we will be restricted on storage.
Yes! We will soon have 2 or 3 options in Vero Beach. You can see more information for our hotel blocks under the “Travel” tab. We will have transportation to and from the wedding site from those specific hotels.
