When do Polly and Randy arrive in San Felipe? When do they leave?

Answer

Wey will be flying into San Diego on 10/30 and driving into San Felipe that day. We plan to stay through 11/6, before going on our Honeymoon!

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place near the beach in San Felipe, Baja California, Mexico about am 8 minute drive from Airstream City.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?

Our ceremony will begin at 5pm, the reception will follow immediately after.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please try to arrive at the location NO later than 15 minutes before the ceremony.

What is the dress code? What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is casual. Wear something you’re comfortable in—button-up shirts, long flowy dresses, or whatever brings you joy. Since our ceremony will take place near a beach, we recommend avoiding high heels.

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but the weather in San Felipe around this time is typically 70-80°. Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding and reception will both be outdoor events.

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the couple will be taking pictures on the beach for around an hour. Guests can drive over to the reception (about 8 minutes away) where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 6:30 pm, with dancing to follow.

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are taking place in the same space area. We will be able to shuttle those to the wedding site from Airstream City if they don’t want to walk!

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

There will be a welcome dinner for those already in San Felipe at Airstream City on November 3, 2023 at around 5pm.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

We sure hope you’ll be able to join us for our special day. On your invitation, there is a QR code you can scan that will take you to our wedding website so you can let us know your plans right here on our website.

Please get us your RSVP by September 23rd, so we have time to buy enough booze.

Do I need to bring Pesos

Kids are welcome but there will not be child care provided.

Yes! We hope you both can celebrate with us.

I can’t attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

We do not plan to stream our wedding, however, we do plan on having a celebration of our union in Washington in Spring of 2024 for those who weren’t able to make it to Mexico.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

We have reserved space at Airstream City, however, there may not be enough trailers for everyone. There are Airbnb options in the area, and there are other hotel options you can find under the ”travel” section of our website.

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The wedding is taking place near the beach, but not on it, you should be able to access it without issue.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We’ll be serving light snacks during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious taco bar dinner, and of course dessert!

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day, please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Yes, we will have a signature cocktail as well as beer and wine available for your enjoyment.

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures using our wedding hashtag #adecadetodavidson so we can see them, too
